As a Network Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, systems, and security protocols.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our IT environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fortigate, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Active Directory AzureAD, Exchange Server, and various security technologies.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Configure and maintain Fortigate network equipment to ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
Manage Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
Administer SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and backup/restore procedures.
Maintain and troubleshoot local Active Directory services and AzureAD , group policies, and domain controllers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory replication, DNS, and other related services.
Implement and manage access control policies to safeguard data and systems.
Provide support for Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, multi-factor authentication and other advanced authentication methods.
Designs, develops, and implements configuration settings for all systems to meet security requirements.
Serves as technical subject matter expert for the resolution of issues related to private or hosted infrastructure.
Investigate and remediate technology problems, especially zero-day issues and reactive incidents.
Perform in-depth analysis of alerts and incidents to identify root causes and patterns.
Monitor network performance, security incidents, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to support business-critical applications and systems.
Implement and enforce security best practices, policies, and procedures to protect company data and assets.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives to enhance network infrastructure and system capabilities.
Qualifications:
5
years of experience in network engineering and system administration roles.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortigate network equipment and other security appliances.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint Online.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, including database design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Expertise in managing local Active Directory services, AzureAD, group policies, and domain controllers.
Familiarity with networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with PCI DSS, NIST, and ISO standards required.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
