Per Diem (Mon-Fri; as needed only for PTO or sick coverage, no set schedule.

Will work between at ALL of our following Connecticut outpatient clinics as needed:
51 North Main Street, Southington, CT (Hartford County) 245 Amity Road, Woodbridge, CT (New Haven County) 2 Riverview Drive, Danbury, CT (Fairfield County) 60 Old New Milford Road, Brookfield, CT (Fairfield County) 761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT (Fairfield County) 323 Riverside Avenue, Westport, CT (Fairfield County)
Responsibilities:
Occupational Hand Therapist responsibilities include Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses.
Devising creative treatment plans for individuals suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
Provide excellent 1:
1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person.
Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
Medical specialties at the clinic include orthopedics and hand therapy.
Adults outpatient caseload.
Qualifications:
CT Occupational Therapist License Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success Basic computer skills CPR and first aid certification required CHT certification preferred MUST have level 2 fieldwork experience in hand therapy, some continuing education courses; and at least 1 year of experience in outpatient hand therapy as a licensed OT preferred.
NO new grads Experience treating all upper extremity orthopedic conditions with focus on the elbow, wrist and hand Salary Description$51.
00 - $57.
